Start Right - Stay Right Shops©

This training program focuses on the importance of academic achievement through affirmation, visualization and self-awareness. It is intended for students in Grades 1-6, but can be tailored to meet the needs of youth and young adults.

Character Building Boot Camp Shops©

During these interactive educational workshops students will tap into "who they are" and what makes them unique. Students will engage in positive activities that will focus on interpersonal skills, coping with life challenges, positive affirmations of "self", respecting self and others, as well as positive thinking, speaking, and acting.

ROOTS-SHOPS The core focus of our ROOTS-Shops for youth is identifying, instilling and building resiliency in youth through weekly classroom work with students. Our Professional Development for adults within schools and school districts. focus on Team Building, Self-Awareness, Relational Dynamics and Empowerment.

Disengaged secondary students are the most vulnerable student population in terms of academic performance and behavioral issues that propel student drop-out rates. ROOTS priority mission is to build practical skills with educators in mind to help them solve the process of reconnecting disengaged student in middle schools and high schools. Powered by our great passion for youth development, ROOTS trainers deliver creative and interactive training, strategic consulting and high-value mentoring.

Students who can not get through the day without emotional outbursts and have developed a quitting spirit. Our intense trainings help students safely explore their feelings, face and conquer fears that are blocking success and positive self-image. Through this ROOTS program, students with special needs will be transformed into special students.

Parents and intergral in youth development but face the daunting reports of reduced test scores and meager graduation rates, we will encourage and emphasize the parents’ strengths and irreplaceable contributions to student success. Not only will we uncover under recognized talents of parents, but we will also pinpoint strategies that parents can use to reveal the gifts and talents housed within our students. Parents will have a tool kit suitable for self reflection and appreciation as well as confidence builders for our students.

By developing soft skills, families will sharpen their skills to motivate, encourage and affirm our students. We will be assisting parents with empowering skills meaningful for disempowered students faced with issues of rejection and shame. We intend to arm parents with vocabulary and activities to recognize the assets of the student population and redirect damaging behaviors in order to achieve better outcomes. The trainings will focus on soft skill development, that result in higher academic achievement. In addition to trainings focusing on parents learning to affirm, appreciate and celebrate their students.
